CREEKSIDE WELCOMES YOU

Counselling. Confidence. Connections.

ABOUT

Creekside

Creekside is a new holistic space & service founded in the beautiful Channel region of Southern lutruwita/Tasmania, and on the traditional lands and waterways of the Melukerdee people of the South East Nation.

Our name 'Creekside' comes from the heart of the land, the creek that meanders below the willow and wattle trees.  Here the creek was once severely neglected when it was utilised as the local dumping site, and so over time we are working on rehabilitating and nurturing it back to its natural state.

Transforming the creek with purposeful and dedicated care is reflective of the supports Creekside has to offer below.

Wholesome Services

We are a mobile, community and home based @ 'Creekside' therapeutic support service.  We offer confidential and accessible support to people experiencing struggles with their mental health and well being, within an environment that feels safe and comfortable to them.

Support can be provided either in person or via other telecommunications ('tele-health' e.g phone call, video call).

Some examples of how we can connect:

  • Confidential Chat (counselling support)

  • Mental Health Treatment Plan: psychological counselling and brief interventions on a mental health treatment plan assessed by a general practitioner (GP).

  • NDIS Plan: With a current NDIS plan that includes capacity building - improved daily living, support can be accessed through our social worker and counselling.

  • Adventure & Nature Therapy: Gentle walk in nature (Coastal and Mountain); Outdoor Activity (Sports)

  • Self Nurture & Strengthening: yoga movement with music, cuppa, craft, create

  • Goal Setting & Capacity Building:  Vocational and educational, organisational & life skills (administration, declutter) & advocacy support

Safe and Supportive Space for Everyone

We seek to support everyone connecting with us to feel safe, supported, valued and respected with a commitment to inclusivity, non-discrimination and allyship.

We are safe and inclusive for our LGBTIQA+, disability, neuro-divergent and CALD communities.
